1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CareerCracker website, courses, and related services (together, the "Services"). By enrolling in a course, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Definitions
- "CareerCracker", "we", "us" or "our" refers to CareerCracker Academy, based in Mumbai, India.
- "You" or "Student" refers to any person who registers for, enrolls in, or uses our Services.
- "Pay-after-placement" refers to our fee model under which the placement fee becomes payable only after you secure employment with a verified salary.
3. Eligibility & enrollment
To enroll, you must provide accurate, current and complete information and be legally able to enter into a contract. Enrollment is confirmed once your onboarding fee is received and you are admitted to a batch. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an enrollment at our discretion, subject to applicable refund terms.
4. Fees & pay-after-placement
To begin a course, you pay a one-time onboarding fee (currently ₹15,000 for most tracks). No further fee is due during the training period. Under the pay-after-placement model, the placement fee applies only after you are placed in a role with a verified salary, is scaled to your salary bracket, and may be payable in instalments as set out in your enrollment agreement.
All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees and processed through our third-party payment provider. Specific fee amounts, slabs and instalment schedules are confirmed in writing at the time of enrollment and form part of these Terms.
5. Refunds & cancellation
Refund eligibility for the onboarding fee, including any cooling-off period, is described in your enrollment agreement. Once training has commenced or course materials have been accessed, the onboarding fee may be non-refundable in whole or in part. Placement fees, where applicable, are governed by the pay-after-placement terms in your agreement.
6. Course delivery
Courses are delivered through live, instructor-led online sessions on a published schedule. We may, where reasonably necessary, adjust timings, trainers, curriculum or session formats. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes in advance.
7. Placement support
We provide placement support including resume and interview preparation and referrals to hiring partners, and we work actively to help you secure a role. Placement outcomes depend on factors including your performance, attendance, interview results and prevailing market conditions, and any figures or statistics we publish are indicative of past results and are not a contractual guarantee of employment unless expressly stated in your enrollment agreement.
8. Intellectual property
All course content, materials, recordings, trademarks and other intellectual property associated with the Services are owned by CareerCracker or its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning. You may not copy, redistribute, resell or publicly share course materials without our written permission.
9. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
- Attend sessions and complete assignments in good faith.
- Not engage in cheating, plagiarism, harassment or disruptive conduct.
- Not share, record or distribute live sessions or materials without permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerCracker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you for the relevant course. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
